About Antony

Antony graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2012 with a First-Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy. Since then, he has worked in various roles within the NHS, building a deep knowledge and passion for musculoskeletal conditions and strength and conditioning.

Currently, Antony is in his final year of pursuing a Master’s in Advanced Clinical Practice: Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy at the University of Birmingham, alongside his role as a Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner in the NHS. His advanced practice involves high-level diagnostics, including requesting and interpreting imaging such as X-rays, ultrasounds, and MRIs, while working closely with orthopaedic surgeons.

Antony has a long background in sport, including working on his own running performance. Having completed both half-marathon and ultra-marathon events, he brings a practical understanding of the demands of endurance training alongside his clinical experience.

Antony places strong emphasis on clear communication, shared decision-making, and helping people understand their symptoms so they can engage confidently with their rehabilitation.

Antony's philosophy

I believe good physiotherapy starts with listening. Every injury has a story, and understanding the individual behind the symptoms is just as important as the examination itself. My goal is to provide an accurate diagnosis, explain it in a way that makes sense, and work together to develop a realistic plan that helps people return to the activities that matter most to them

Our shared approach

Accelerate Physiotherapy has supported people with musculoskeletal injuries since 2016. Between us, we have over 28 years of combined physiotherapy experience, including extensive work within NHS musculoskeletal services.

As runners ourselves, we understand both the highs of training and chasing personal bests and the frustrations of managing injury. This lived experience, combined with evidence-informed clinical practice, shapes how we assess, advise, and rehabilitate people with running-related and activity-related injuries.

Although we specialise in working with runners, you do not need to be a runner to see us. We also support active adults and people involved in a wide range of sports and physical activities.

We believe everyone deserves the confidence to live an active life. Our role is not simply to treat an injury, but to understand the person behind it, explain what's happening, and provide the knowledge and support needed to return to the activities that matter most. Every rehabilitation programme is tailored to your goals, your lifestyle and your journey.
